Char’s Zaku II Gets a 10-Meter Hose Reel for Your Next Zeon-Style Gardening Mission
Char’s Zaku II is heading somewhere you probably never expected: the garden.
The Mobile Suit Gundam 10m Hose Reel Char’s Custom Model is now available for pre-order through the Marupi Garage Online Store on Premium Bandai, giving Gundam fans a very Zeon-inspired way to tackle watering, washing and other outdoor chores.
Priced at 9,900 yen including tax, the hose reel is scheduled to ship in September 2026.

Naturally, the design takes its cues from Char’s iconic red Zaku II. The body features Char’s personal mark, the Principality of Zeon emblem and the Zaku’s model number, while the overall coloring gives the hose reel a surprisingly convincing mobile suit-inspired look.
And yes, it is actually built to be useful.
The included hose measures 10 meters and uses a slim 7.5mm inner diameter. The nozzle, connector, winding handle and carrying handle can all be folded down, allowing the unit to be stored more compactly when it is not needed.
The handle also lets you switch the water flow on and off with a single click, while four water patterns are available: mist, straight, shower and watering can.
Connecting it to a faucet is designed to be simple too. No tools are required, with the dedicated connector attaching and detaching from the faucet in just two steps.
So basically, Char’s Zaku II has been reassigned from fighting the Earth Federation to fighting dry patches in the backyard.

At 9,900 yen, this might be one of the most unexpectedly practical Char’s Zaku II collectibles yet.
