Wing Gundam 30th Anniversary Visual Project Remains Under Wraps as Fans Await the Next Reveal

It's been several months since Bandai Namco officially kicked off the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Project, and fans are still eagerly waiting to see what comes next.

The anniversary project was officially announced on April 1, 2025, celebrating 30 years since Mobile Suit Gundam Wing first premiered in Japan on April 7, 1995. Alongside the announcement, Bandai Namco unveiled a special anniversary illustration featuring Heero Yuy and Relena Darlian in formal attire, launched a dedicated 30th anniversary website, and confirmed that it would serve as the central hub for future news, merchandise, and special announcements throughout the celebration.

Since then, the anniversary has continued to gain momentum with a growing lineup of projects. During San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Bandai Namco Filmworks revealed a brand new commemorative video titled Mobile Suit Gundam Wing -Operation 30th-, a newly illustrated key visual inspired by the original TV series eyecatch artwork, and a brand new manga that bridges the story between Endless Waltz and Frozen Teardrop.

Even with those exciting announcements, many fans are still looking ahead to the next major reveal. Bandai Namco has confirmed that a new video production for Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is in development, but details about its story, format, and release date have yet to be announced.

For now, the wait continues. As one of the franchise's most beloved series celebrates three decades, fans around the world are keeping a close eye on the anniversary project and hoping the next announcement won't be too far away.
