The Destiny Gundam Spec II is returning in an impressive new form inspired by its climactic battle in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. Bandai has announced the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Destiny Gundam Spec II Final Battle Ver. as a commemorative event item for TAMASHII NATION 2026.
This version takes its design cues from THE FINAL BATTLE, where the Destiny Gundam Spec II is surrounded by the intense red glow of its joints. To recreate that look, the die-cast elbow and knee parts receive a plated finish designed to resemble the glowing joints, while the exterior armor is given a reddish tint to capture the reflected light.
The entire mobile suit also features original markings, adding extra detail across the body. The set also includes Wings of Light effect parts, allowing fans to recreate the Destiny Gundam Spec II's dramatic battle scenes from the film.

TAMASHII NATION 2026 will take place from November 13 to 15, 2026, at Akihabara UDX 2F AKIBA_SQUARE, Bellesalle Akihabara, and TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO.
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 13 and 14, while November 15 runs until 5:00 p.m.
