METAL BUILD God Gundam [Meikyō Shisui] Brings a Golden Finish to TAMASHII NATION 2026

A golden God Gundam is coming to TAMASHII NATION 2026 with the BURNING GUNDAM [MEIKYOSHISUI], a special commemorative release inspired by the activation of Meikyō Shisui in Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

Meikyō Shisui (明鏡止水) is a Japanese expression that literally refers to a clear mirror and still water. It describes a state of calmness and mental clarity, and in G Gundam, it represents the heightened state of focus that allows Domon to draw out God Gundam's full power.

For this special METAL BUILD release, God Gundam receives a striking golden color scheme inspired by that state. Under the direction of General Director Yasuhiro Imagawa, multiple shades of gold are applied throughout the figure, from the fists and armor to the alloy joints.

The gold finish is based on the interpretation that the color comes from the fighting spirit emanating from God Gundam during the activation of Meikyō Shisui. The base also features gold foil stamping, while the Energy Multiplier receives a plated finish.

The Sun Halo effect has also been redesigned with a luxurious color scheme created specifically for this release, giving the golden God Gundam an appropriately flashy finish.
