Nu Gundam Gets an Edo-Era Makeover in New ENTRY GRADE Ukiyo-e Package Ver.
The Nu Gundam is getting a seriously unexpected Japanese art makeover.
Bandai Spirits has revealed the ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Nu Gundam [Ukiyo-e Package Ver.], an event-exclusive GunPla scheduled for release in August 2026 for 1,760 yen.
The release joins the three limited-edition ENTRY GRADE Ukiyo-e Package Ver. kits available through regular retail channels, featuring the RX-78-2 Gundam, Strike Gundam, and Wing Gundam.
While the other three share the ukiyo-e concept, the Nu Gundam gets its own artwork. The package places the mobile suit in a traditional Japanese landscape with Mount Fuji, birds, mountains, and other elements inspired by Edo-period ukiyo-e.
The kit continues that theme with ukiyo-e-style stickers for the Nu Gundam's shield, adding a traditional Japanese pattern to one of its most recognizable pieces of equipment.
It also includes marking stickers for the RX-93 model number and especially for the Amuro Ray crest.
So while the package looks like it came straight out of an Edo-period art collection, the Nu Gundam itself still gets plenty of familiar Gundam details.
