P-Bandai Reissues RG 1/144 Strike Gundam (Deactive Mode), Second Batch Arrives This October

Premium Bandai is bringing back the RG 1/144 Strike Gundam (Deactive Mode) with a second batch reissue scheduled for October 2026. The return gives collectors another opportunity to pick up one of the earliest Real Grade Deactive Mode exclusives from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED lineup.

The kit was originally released in January 2012 with a price of 2,160 yen (tax included). It recreates the Strike Gundam before its Phase Shift Armor is activated, featuring a muted gray color scheme that reflects its inactive appearance while retaining all of the detailed engineering, articulation, and mechanical detail of the standard Real Grade release.

In Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam is one of the Earth Alliance's five prototype G Project mobile suits. Piloted by Kira Yamato, it became famous for its Striker Pack System, allowing it to switch between the Aile, Sword, and Launcher configurations to suit different combat situations. Its adaptability made it one of the defining mobile suits of the Cosmic Era and laid the groundwork for later GAT-X developments.
