P-Bandai's RG 1/144 Strike Freedom Gundam (Deactive Mode) Returns with Second Batch Reissue This September

Premium Bandai has announced a second batch reissue of the RG 1/144 Strike Freedom Gundam (Deactive Mode), scheduled for September 2026. More than a decade after its original debut, fans once again have the chance to add this Premium Bandai exclusive to their collections.

Originally released in March 2014 for 3,240 yen (tax included), the kit recreates the Strike Freedom Gundam in its deactivated appearance with a subdued exterior color scheme and a matte silver plated inner frame. It also includes the complete Super DRAGOON wing system, beam rifles, beam sabers, shield, realistic decals, and the detailed articulation that helped make the Real Grade series so popular.

Within Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY, the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam was custom tuned specifically for Kira Yamato, emphasizing overwhelming mobility and precision firepower. Powered by the Hyper-Deuterion Engine, it is equipped with the Super DRAGOON system, HiMAT wings, beam shields, and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system, allowing it to engage multiple enemies simultaneously while maintaining exceptional speed and agility. It remains one of the most powerful mobile suits fielded during the Cosmic Era.
