PG UNLEASHED Nu Gundam Gets a Clear Color Body and Double Fin Funnel Setup
The PG UNLEASHED 1/60 Nu Gundam is getting a new expansion set that lets builders show off its massive internal frame in a completely different way.
The PG UNLEASHED 1/60 Nu Gundam Fin Funnel & Clear Color Body includes a full set of clear exterior parts designed to reveal the intricate mechanical structure underneath. Multiple clear molded colors are used across the body and weapons, giving the already highly detailed PG UNLEASHED kit a completely new look.
The clear exterior does not just cover the mobile suit itself. The beam rifle and New Hyper Bazooka also receive clear parts, allowing their internal construction to remain visible.
And then there are the extra Fin Funnels.
The set includes six Fin Funnels, which can be combined with the separately sold PG UNLEASHED Nu Gundam to recreate the Double Fin Funnel configuration. That means a fully equipped Nu Gundam carrying a total of 12 Fin Funnels.
Builders who also have the separately sold PG UNLEASHED 1/60 Nu Gundam LED Unit can take advantage of the clear exterior to further highlight illuminated sections, including the Psycho-Frame.
One important thing to note: this is an expansion set, and the PG UNLEASHED 1/60 Nu Gundam is sold separately. The clear exterior parts are intended to be assembled onto an unbuilt PG UNLEASHED Nu Gundam.
