The P-Bandai HGUC 1/144 Ground Type Gundam [Parachute Pack Ver.] is returning in February 2027 as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.

The MS-07H-8 Gouf Flight Type was developed to solve one of Zeon's major problems during its Earth invasion: the slow deployment of mobile suits across the battlefield. Early attempts at aerial mobile suits ended with the destruction of the MS-07H-4 Gouf Flight Test Type and the death of its pilot, 2nd Lt. Frank Bernard. Although the program was officially terminated, engineers at Side 3 continued the research and eventually developed the MS-07H-8 with practical flight capability.

Based on the Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN MSD (Mobile Suits Discovery) design, the MS-06RD-4 was first seen in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. This experimental mobile suit was developed through a top-secret collaboration between Zeonic and Zimmad under the Principality of Zeon's military, with its development focused on testing a Zaku-based mobile suit for space combat.

The release includes the RGM-79N GM Custom in its standard color scheme alongside the RB-79 Ball Modified Type. The two kits were originally released together as a Premium Bandai set and are now returning in a reissue.

The set originally arrived in 2013 and features newly molded parts for both Ball variants. The Ball Type K features its distinctive arms, boosters, winch, and headlights associated with Shiro Amada's Ball in The 08th MS Team. The Shark Mouth Ball features specialized parts and its distinctive shark mouth design seen in MS IGLOO.

Several of Graze Ein’s signature features have been built into the kit. The head face guard can open and close, while interchangeable main camera parts and plastic stickers allow builders to recreate different expressions.

Fourteen years is a long time in GunPla, and the evolution of the RG Gundam Ground Type shows just how far Bandai's design and engineering have come.

Thirty years after Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team first arrived, the Gundam Ground Type is finally joining the Real Grade lineup.

But this announcement has been a long time coming. The RG Gundam Ground Type was first teased back in 2012 during GunPla Expo World Tour 2012 Japan, where it appeared in a concept image alongside other potential additions to the Real Grade series. For years, the idea remained just that. Now, 14 years later, the Ground Type has finally received its proper RG announcement.

Its biggest feature is impossible to miss. The Hamma Hamma is equipped with detachable, wire-guided claw hands, each armed with a three-barrel beam gun. The wired arms can extend far from the main body, allowing the mobile suit to attack targets across a wide area.

The Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is officially joining the MGEX lineup, taking one of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom’s most powerful mobile suits into the Master Grade Extreme series.

The GN-0000 00 Gundam was Celestial Being’s first mobile suit equipped with the Twin Drive System, using two original GN Drives synchronized to generate an enormous amount of GN Particle output. The system was incredibly powerful, but it came with one major problem. The 00 could not fully stabilize the Twin Drive System on its own, especially when activating Trans-Am.

The MGEX series has become one of Bandai's premium GunPla lines, with each release built around a particular concept or "Extreme Point." The line has previously explored dramatic lighting effects with the MGEX Unicorn Gundam and highly detailed metallic expression with the MGEX Strike Freedom Gundam.

The broadcast promises plenty of new Gunpla information, including news related to upcoming events. Most importantly, Bandai is teasing brand-new product information that will make its debut during the program.

The ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Strike Gundam [Ukiyo-e Package Ver.] will be released on August 29, 2026, featuring a special limited-edition package inspired by traditional Japanese woodblock prints. The release also includes a new sheet of Japanese-style stickers, giving one of the most recognizable mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED a distinctly different presentation.

Bandai Hobby is releasing the ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Wing Gundam [Ukiyo-e Package Ver.] on August 29, 2026. The special edition gives the popular Gunpla a newly designed package inspired by ukiyo-e, Japan's traditional woodblock print art, along with a sheet of Japanese-style stickers.

Bandai Hobby is releasing the ENTRY GRADE 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam [Ukiyo-e Package Ver.] on August 29, 2026, giving the classic Gunpla a special limited-edition package inspired by ukiyo-e, Japan's famous traditional woodblock print art.

The Ver.GCP version includes the special landing gear parts created for the Shanghai statue, allowing the Freedom Gundam to recreate its distinctive standing display pose. It also includes dedicated open hand parts, another addition designed specifically for reproducing the statue's appearance.

As the life-size RX-0 Unicorn Gundam statue at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza prepares to leave its longtime home on August 31, its special Ver. TWC FINAL design is getting a massive GunPla release.

The Mega Size Model 1/48 Gundam Base Limited RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. TWC FINAL recreates the statue's farewell appearance, featuring exclusive decorations by mechanical designer Hajime Katoki. The kit also retains details inspired by the actual life-size Unicorn Gundam statue, including the backpack vernier molding.
