RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam Ver.GCP [Clear Color] Brings the Shanghai Statue Back in a Crystal-Clear Finish
The Freedom Gundam is ready to touch down again.
Gundam Base is releasing the RG 1/144 Gundam Base Limited ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam Ver.GCP [Clear Color] on August 22, 2026, giving the famous Shanghai Freedom Gundam statue a striking transparent makeover.
Based on the RG Freedom Gundam Ver.GCP, this Gundam Base exclusive recreates the special version of Kira Yamato's mobile suit created to match the life-sized Freedom Gundam statue in Shanghai. This time, the detailed Real Grade construction is shown through clear armor parts, giving builders a look at the mechanical detail hiding beneath Freedom's familiar blue, white, and red exterior.
And this is more than just a standard RG Freedom Gundam with transparent parts swapped in.
The Ver.GCP version includes the special landing gear parts created for the Shanghai statue, allowing the Freedom Gundam to recreate its distinctive standing display pose. It also includes dedicated open hand parts, another addition designed specifically for reproducing the statue's appearance.
The kit retains the Ver.GCP's detailed panel lines and color separation, while the included realistic decals reproduce its markings and metallic details. Builders also get Freedom's familiar equipment, including the beam rifle, beam sabers, and shield.
