After War Gundam X FLASH Manga Begins Serialization This August
After War Gundam X is getting a new manga sequel, with After War Gundam X FLASH set to begin serialization in Japan later this month.
Created by Koichi Tokita, the new sequel side-story manga will debut in the October 2026 issue of Monthly Gundam Ace, scheduled to go on sale on August 26, 2026. Ahead of its serialization, a two-page spread from the first chapter has been revealed, offering fans an early look at the new story.
Set in the After War timeline, After War Gundam X FLASH will continue from After War Gundam X NEXT PROLOGUE "If I'm With You", the follow-up manga released in 2018. The new series will continue the journey of Garrod Ran and Tiffa Adill as their story moves forward.
Tokita's return is also fitting as After War Gundam X celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. The manga artist previously worked on the Gundam X manga during the original television broadcast, and now he is returning to the series with a new story.
The first two pages offer just a small preview for now, but After War Gundam X FLASH is set to give fans another reason to revisit the After War timeline as the series enters its 30th anniversary year.
