HGUC Gelgoog [Unicorn Ver.] Returns to Premium Bandai in October 2026

Another classic Zeon mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn is heading back to Premium Bandai.

The HGUC 1/144 Gelgoog [Unicorn Ver.] is getting a reissue in October 2026, giving Gundam fans another chance to pick up the Sleeves version of the iconic mobile suit.

Originally released in May 2017 for 1,836 yen, the reissue will be priced at 2,090 yen.

This particular Gelgoog appeared during the Sleeves attack on the Nahel Argama as the ship made its way toward Megallanica. While the basic design remains unmistakably Gelgoog, the Gundam Unicorn version gives it the Sleeves treatment with updated markings and detailing.

The kit's distinctive Sleeves engravings on the forearms are reproduced with molded details, giving the decorations a much sharper look than simple stickers. Foil stickers are also included for the Neo Zeon markings seen in the OVA.

The weapon lineup is pretty solid too. The kit comes with a beam machine gun, beam naginata, beam rifle and shield, giving builders several options for recreating its appearance from Gundam Unicorn.

And yes, the beam machine gun is one of the highlights here. It gives this older Gelgoog design a slightly more modern look and helps separate the Unicorn version from the classic HGUC release.

The HGUC 1/144 Gelgoog [Unicorn Ver.] [REISSUE] will be available through Premium Bandai for 2,090 yen, with the reissue scheduled for October 2026.

After all these years, the Gelgoog is still getting called back into action. Zeon really does know how to get the most mileage out of an old mobile suit.
