Bandai Drops a Mysterious Teaser for the Next MGEX GunPla

A brand-new MGEX GunPla is about to be revealed, and Bandai has dropped a mysterious teaser that is already giving us plenty to stare at.

The teaser features a purple background with bits of yellow, while the MGEX logo sits front and center. There is no name, no clear mobile suit, and no explanation just yet. Instead, Bandai has given us a visual clue and left us to start connecting the dots.

The new MGEX is set to be announced during Bandai Hobby's special GunPla livestream on August 25 at 8:00 PM JST. With the reveal just around the corner, fans are now trying to figure out what mobile suit will join the Master Grade Extreme lineup.

The MGEX series has become one of Bandai's premium GunPla lines, with each release built around a particular concept or "Extreme Point." The line has previously explored dramatic lighting effects with the MGEX Unicorn Gundam and highly detailed metallic expression with the MGEX Strike Freedom Gundam.

That is what makes this teaser particularly interesting.
