METAL BUILD Strike Noir Returns for Gundam SEED Stargazer's 20th Anniversary

The Strike Noir Gundam is returning to METAL BUILD in a new 20th Memorial Version, scheduled for release in March 2027.

The original METAL BUILD Strike Noir Gundam (Alternative Strike Ver.) was released in November 2022 at 30,800 yen. Nearly five years later, the Strike Noir returns with a revised color scheme and updated parts to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 -STARGAZER-.

The new version is priced at 39,600 yen and features colors designed to more closely match the Strike Noir's appearance in the anime. Its weapons are also predominantly finished in black, matching the mobile suit's "Noir" designation.

One of the biggest updates comes to the Beam Rifle Shorty. Newly sculpted expressive wrist parts have been added specifically for the compact weapons, allowing for more dynamic posing and weapon-holding positions.

The Strike Noir is based on the GAT-X105E Strike E equipped with the AQM/E-X09S Noir Striker. Developed with a wide range of weapons, the Noir Striker supports long-, medium- and close-range combat, although the Strike Noir itself was heavily focused on close-quarters fighting.

Its arsenal includes two High-Energy Beam Rifles with grenade launchers, two Beam Rifle Shorties and two Anchor Launchers, along with the weapons and equipment carried by the Noir Striker.

The Strike Noir was also deployed alongside the Blu Duel Gundam and Verde Buster Gundam, with the three mobile suits covering different combat roles during their operations.

The Noir Striker features Phase Shift armor, supported by high-capacity power packs. Production was limited due to the availability of Phase Shift armor materials, with fewer than ten complete Noir Strikers believed to have been produced.

The METAL BUILD Strike Noir (20th Memorial Ver.) stands approximately 180mm tall and uses ABS, PVC and die-cast metal. The set includes the main unit, six types of interchangeable left and right wrist parts, Noir Striker backpack, High-Energy Beam Rifles, Beam Rifle Shorties, magazine holders, effect parts, Anchor Launchers, joint parts, support stand and dedicated display stand.

The 20th Memorial Version gives collectors a new take on the METAL BUILD Strike Noir while adding updated colors and new wrist parts for one of the Strike Noir's signature weapons.
