Metal Robot Spirits Reveals Full Armor Parts Set for Enhanced ZZ Gundam
Supervised by Hajime Katoki, the set includes meticulously sculpted and colored armor parts designed specifically for the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) Enhanced ZZ Gundam. Once attached to the separately sold figure, the additional parts recreate the Full Armor ZZ Gundam configuration.
Releasing in April 2027 for 13,200 yen.
The Full Armor System was developed by Anaheim Electronics after the Enhanced ZZ Gundam proved to be a successful but incomplete solution to the structural issues of the original ZZ Gundam. The additional armor features anti-beam coating capable of withstanding regular beam shots for around three seconds, while integrated sensors, propellant tanks, and thrusters support the heavily equipped mobile suit.
The armor also incorporates additional missile weaponry and a high mega cannon for increased firepower. The Hyper Mega Cannon included with this parts set provides another powerful weapon option.
The added armor affects the Enhanced ZZ Gundam's transformation capability, so the armor can be removed when transformation is required.
The parts set stands approximately 150mm tall when attached to the Enhanced ZZ Gundam and is made of ABS and PVC. Unlike the separately sold METAL ROBOT SPIRITS figure, this set does not use die-cast metal.
The package includes the complete set of additional armor parts, Hyper Mega Cannon, and a complete set of joint parts. The Enhanced ZZ Gundam figure is sold separately and is not included with this set.
Once combined with the Enhanced ZZ Gundam, the parts set completes the Full Armor ZZ Gundam configuration, allowing fans to display it alongside the separately sold ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) <SIDE MS> Geymalk [Re:Coordinate] and other Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ releases.
