ROBOT SPIRITS Reveals Massive Quin Mantha for Gundam ZZ 40th Anniversary
The massive NZ-000 Quin Mantha is finally joining the ROBOT SPIRITS lineup, with the new figure scheduled for release in March 2027 as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.
Developed by Neo Zeon after the Gryps Conflict, the Quin Mantha was designed as one of the most powerful mobile suits of its era. Its enormous frame houses a high-output fusion reactor along with an extensive beam weapon arsenal.
The Quin Mantha is equipped with two Large Beam Sabers, six Mega Particle Guns, a three-barrel Mega Particle Gun, and 30 Funnels. Its shoulder binders also contain Mega Particle Deflectors, which can defend against incoming beam attacks and redirect the energy for offensive use.
The mobile suit's cockpit is located inside its head, which can detach from the main body as an escape unit. Like the Qubeley Mk-II, the Quin Mantha can also be externally controlled by a Newtype using a psycommu controller headset.
For the ROBOT SPIRITS release, mechanical designer Mika Akitaka is supervising the sculpting of the figure. The finished product stands approximately 260mm tall, with the top height measuring around 230mm. Original markings designed by Akitaka are also applied across various parts of the figure.
The set includes the main figure, interchangeable left and right wrist parts, two beam sabers, two beam saber effect parts, 14 funnel effect parts, joint parts, and a dedicated display stand.
The Quin Mantha can also be displayed alongside the separately sold ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) <SIDE MS> Geymalk [Re:Coordinate] for a larger Gundam ZZ display.
