MG 1/100 Perfect Strike Gundam Grand Slam Equipped Type Gets September Release on U.S. Premium Bandai

The MG 1/100 THE GUNDAM BASE LIMITED PERFECT STRIKE GUNDAM GRAND SLAM EQUIPPED TYPE is returning to U.S. Premium Bandai this September, and this version of the Strike Gundam packs a seriously loaded lineup of equipment into one MG kit.

Originally released at The Gundam Base in Japan in August 2022, this limited edition combines the MG 1/100 Aile Strike Gundam Ver.RM with the Launcher Striker, Sword Striker, and the Grand Slam sword.

That combination is what makes this version particularly interesting for Strike Gundam fans. The kit can be configured as Aile Strike Gundam, Sword Strike Gundam, or Launcher Strike Gundam, while all three Striker Packs can also be mounted together to recreate the heavily equipped Perfect Strike Gundam. The Aile Striker also connects to its battery pack, completing the distinctive Perfect Strike setup.

And then there is the Grand Slam.

The massive sword is included as part of this Gundam Base limited release, along with dedicated hand parts for holding the weapon. The Grand Slam gives the Strike Gundam another display option beyond its familiar Striker Pack configurations, and it is one of the details that sets this particular Perfect Strike package apart from the standard MG Aile Strike Ver.RM.

The kit also includes the Strike Gundam's beam rifle, shield, two Armor Schneiders, and multiple beam effect parts for the Sword Striker. Water-slide decals are included as well, while a dedicated display base inspired by a catapult provides a fitting way to display the completed mobile suit.

The U.S. Premium Bandai release is scheduled to ship in September 2026.

Pre-orders opened on August 11, 2026 at 8:00 PM EDT and will close on August 24, 2026 at 2:59 AM EDT.
